Ronald Conrad

Ronald Conrad is both a specialist and a generalist. In the English Department of Ryerson Polytechnic University, he has had long experience as a teacher of writing: from composition to upgrading courses to creative writing. He has also taught world, British and Canadian literature. Conrad has lived and travelled in other countries and speaks French and Spanish fluently. He widely reads the literatures of Quebec and of Latin America. Recently retired from teaching, he now devotes more time to his lifelong interest in the outdoors--hiking, skiing and taking several wilderness canoe trips each year. He is married with three children.
