Student Resources Online - Web Links

The links below lead to sites that are not part of the McGraw-Hill Ryerson site. Click on the following links to visit the sites in a new browser window.

At the end of each one of its fifty selections, the new Act of Writing, fifth edition, refers you to at least one website and sometimes several. Many of these explore the topic of the essay you have just read, while others help you know more about its author.

Right here, though, you can link to any of these websites. Another advantage of using these links is that they will be kept current. As time passes, some sites given in the book may change or disappear, but the ones here will be checked often. Missing ones will be removed, and good new ones will be added as they come online. If you find other good ones not yet listed, please suggest them to the publisher.

The following websites are organized according to their chapter in the book. Happy exploring!
