The Case of... Who Am I?

Chapter three asks you to assess yourself: your personality, your values, your goals, and your learning style. Do you know why you're in college? Do you have goals firmly in mind? Do you know how to reach those goals? By understanding yourself, and your approach to studying and learning, you will be better prepared to successfully complete your coursework and then to move on to the corporate world.

Since a major focus of this chapter is learning style, have you decided how you will adjust your learning style to classes that seem to contradict it? In the box below, identify briefly what your learning style is, based either on the Kolb Learning Style Inventory, or the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and then explain how you adjust it to fit the classes that are conducted in a manner that contradicts your predominant learning style. Other students may profit from your experience in learning how to adjust learning style, or you may get some helpful information from other students as well.
