Michael Willis, CA, formed Willis & Company in 1970. The firm became Willis & Adams in 1989. Mr. Michael Willis is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a bachelor’s degree in Business. He is currently active in the Boise Area Chamber of Commerce, is president of the Small Business Council, and chairman of the SBC Program Committee, and is a member of the Service Corps of Retired Executives.

Scott Adams, CA, has practiced both in public and private accounting for over 20 years. Mr. Adams graduated Cum Laude from the University of Alberta, in 1979 with a major in Accounting and a concentration in Finance. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and their Management Advisory Services section and is a member of the Idaho Institute of Certified Public Accounts, serving on the Professional Conduct Committee. He has published articles in regional and national magazines and taught a variety of classes for CAs.

Karen Mitchell, CA, joined Willis & Adams fter extensive experience with various public accounting firms, in addition to having developed and maintained her own accounting practice. Her primary expertise is in computer technology, specifically the installation, implementation and training on a wide variety of computer accounting systems, including cost accounting systems specifically tailored to individual client needs .

Ms. Karen Mitchell is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the School of Accounting of the University of Waterloo with a major in Accounting with a Computer Science emphasis. She is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, and the Ontario and Alberta Institutes of Chartered Accounts, and co-chair of the Technology Committee of the Alberta Institute.
