Disability Request

McGraw-Hill Ryerson is wholly committed to servicing the needs of students with disabilities and we regard this as a key part of our customer service. Requests for any McGraw-Hill educational material for students with disabilities should be done by the institution’s disability service centre or student services.

The student with a certified disability should be registered for a course in which they have purchased a McGraw-Hill textbook. The request should also include the author, title and ISBN of the book, as well as the mailing and email address of the disabilities service center contact.

After confirming the above information, the turnaround time to obtain an e-text in PDF files is 7-10 days for a Canadian text. US original texts requests are sent to the US Copyright Permissions Editor, who will contact the requester. The e-file is then sent to the requester from the US head office. Lead time is approximately 2-3 weeks.

McGraw-Hill will provide digital files without any additional charge over what the student would pay for a print book.
